The Detroit Red Wings played a perfect game Wednesday night on the road at Mellon Arena; winning game 6 of the 2008 Stanley Cup Finals. They beat the Pittsburgh Penguins, 3-2 in the final game. This is the fourth win of the Stanley Cup in 11 years; they last won it in 2002 and prior to that 1998 & 1997.
Detroit celebrated bringing home the Cup Friday with a parade and rally. The parade was about a mile long and ended with a celebration rally for the players, coaches and staff.
