Are you looking for a phone just to use to talk on – one without all the bells and whistles of today’s “smartphones”? If so, try the LG VX5400 through Verizon Wireless. This is a dependable phone that makes clear calls and has a long battery life.
This easy-to-use phone has a bright LCD outside screen as well as a bright inside LCD screen, making it easy to see anywhere, anytime. As do the clear, black-and-white keys. You can store up to 1,000 contacts in the phone book and this phone has Bluetooth compatibility.
This is a sleek, easy choice if you are looking for a “talk only” phone. For more information, check out this product review by PC Magazine.

More and more states are banning the use of hand held cell phones while driving. No state has prohibited the use of hands-free phones. However, California, New York, Washington D.C. and Connecticut are among the states that have banned the use of handheld cell phones while driving and consider it a primary offense – which means you can be ticketed even if you are not violating any other traffic laws.
Studies show that 80% of all crashes and 65% of all near-crashes are directly related to a distracted driver. Other distractions that are also being banned include: text messaging, smoking, eating drinking etc.
Don’t have a hands-free phone yet? Better to be safe rather than sorry – check out our selection at the foneGEAR store.

Erin Crocker, No. 46 foneGEAR Silverado, Qualified 23rd: “I think we qualified well, probably about mid-pack which is a good place for me to start. I am excited to be back here at Daytona, very excited about the opportunity that (team owner) David Dollar has given me and happy to have Phonegear.com on the truck. I’m just really excited, and it’s my first time back in the NASCAR garage in two years and it feels really good. It’s my first time driving a Chevy Silverado and that is also very exciting for me.
“Today we just did our qualifying runs and last night we did our drafting practice. The truck felt real comfortable and we tested here probably about a month ago and I wasn’t as comfortable. The truck was pretty free and I just wasn’t as comfortable. But last night we made some big gains on it and we definitely felt more comfortable and I feel like we can get right in the mix of things.”
